Kang Yatse Trek: 13 to 14 days.

Kang Yatse trek is an extension to Markha Valley trek. From Niamling you will trek to Kang Yatse base camp. The next stop would be the high camp of Kang-Yatse. Next day, you will return to Niamling after having a view of Tibet and Zangskar Valley. The next halt would be Shang sumdo after passing KongmaruLa pass. The last day would be to return leh afer heading to Martse-lhang.

Kang Yatse 2 peak is 6200 meters  & is likely one of the highest trekkable mountains within the Ladakh area of India.

Kang Yatse 2 peak is situated in Hemis National Park, close to Stok village which is round 15 km southwest of the town of Leh, the capital of Ladakh.

Kang Yatse stands aside distinctively from its different surrounding peaks within the Markha Valley. The altitude, terrain, and gradient of the climb pose a problem even to the fittest and skilled trekkers.
